The GCD Discipleship Cohort, hosted by Jonathan K. Dodson, is a six-week intensive cohort designed for church leaders who want to move from discipleship as a concept to discipleship as a practice. Drawing on over thirty years of experience leading, coaching, and implementing gospel-centered discipleship, Jonathan brings both theological depth and practical wisdom to every session.

Running March 26 through April 30, 2026, the cohort meets weekly via live Zoom sessions — each one blending instruction, key implementation questions, and open Q&A time. By the end, you won’t just have new ideas; you’ll have a personalized guiding document for ministry improvement and application.

What you’ll cover across six sessions:

The cohort walks you through defining discipleship for your specific church context, identifying the three key environments where discipleship happens, and then going deep on each: theological formation, relational holiness in discipleship groups, and faithful presence in everyday mission. The final session gives you space to evaluate your plan and get direct input from Jonathan.
