Let’s start with some events:
Church Planter Online Webinar with Tony Merida
If you are a church planter, know a church planter, are praying about becoming a church planter, or are just interested in church planting and what it takes, we’ll be hosting a one hour online seminar with GCD author (and church planter) Tony Merida. Tony’s book Church Planter: Nine Essentials for Being Faithful and Effective has become a foundation “must read” for those aspiring to and involved in church planting.
This free webinar is on February 13 at 2pm EST. Be sure to register for this free webinar.
Mobilize: Unleash a Church Full of Leaders at TGC 25
What can a church full of volunteer leaders accomplish? Where do those leaders come from and how can ministry leaders help develop them? Dr. John H. Wilson and Amy Lynch, authors and practitioners of our forthcoming book, The Nehemiah Way: Mobilizing a Church Full of Leaders, seek to cast a vision for thriving church mobilization and service. Through this event we'll equip you with a vision for engagement and discovery of a church ready and equipped to serve to fulfill the Great Commission.
This event is free and live at on April 24, 7:30am at The Gospel Coalition 2025 Conference in Indianapolis, IN.
New Book Release!
Tuesday, January 28 we are releasing a new compilation volume of articles from GCD celebrating and encouraging readers to love the local church. Broken but Beautiful: Reflections on the Blessings of the Local Church is a celebration of God’s grace and work in his people, even in spite of her flaws and frailty.
